Kary Gunn

Kary A. Gunn is a visionary leader who’s had proven success with multiple start-ups and division expansions throughout her career. Kary has worked for several  organizations, and eventually shifted her experience into her own venture by founding Human Capital Management, Inc. (HCM) in 2000, which provides executive-level search services to companies across the US. Later, she launched a subsidiary Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) firm in 2003 called ACA Talent, which also offers customized programs to Fortune 500 companies. After building national industry recognition, she later sold her interest in these businesses as she transitioned into her next venture.

A tireless entrepreneur with over 20 years of business management experience, she left the staffing & Human Resources arena behind and began to concentrate in other areas.

Kary soon went on to found Selas Technologies in 2011, with the #1 focus of helping businesses develop and implement unparalleled technology to support scalability and enhance competitive advantage. Today their flagship products NuLaw, NuDebt and NuPay are cornering the legal and financial industries with innovation. SelasTech has built a champion team of experts around the world to deliver on its promise, putting a WOW in how clients leverage technology, improve efficiencies, and drive revenues.

Jason Piccininni

Jason Piccininni (JP) manages all aspects of NuLaw Operations, including HR, Accounting, Finance, and Product Implementation.  His “people first” attitude fosters an environment of positive, collaborative teamwork.  JP is always mindful of cost and efficiency, but also strives to give the team all necessary support and tools to maximize both happiness and creativity. 

Jason has been part of the NuLaw Team for 5 years.  He is a product of the corporate philosophy, which encourages career growth and development and promotion from within.  He was initially brought on as a “Controller / Operations Manager” and has progressed through the years to his current role of “Chief Operations Officer”.

JP earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University.  He has many years of experience in the Accounting field, during which time he prepared both corporate and individual tax returns, and performed analyses and trial exhibits to support the financial aspects of litigation matters.  It is his experience in Forensic Accounting, where the accountants work closely with attorneys, that led JP to join the NuLaw team.  He lives in Parkland, FL with his wife, 3 children, 2 dogs, and 2 cats.

Shauna Capi

Shauna Capi is NuLaw’s Chief Growth Officer. Shauna is responsible for Selas’ growth. She has a passion for consulting with legal professionals, from solo practitioners to AMLAW 100 and general counsel. Shauna works diligently with our team and clients to build custom tailored solutions on NuLaw. 

With an extensive background in the legal industry, Shauna has worked at a number of law firms, including GrayRobinson, an AMLAW 200 firm. Over her 10 years of law firm experience, Shauna defended a number of large corporations and businesses in bet the company actions. After her tenure with GrayRobinson, Shauna moved on to gain significant experience as the Director of Strategic Solutions with Special Counsel where she provided custom tailored solutions to law firms and general counsel in eDiscovery, Contract Attorney Reviews, Digital Forensics and Information Governance.

Steve Bright

Steve Bright leads NuLaw’s US sales operation, with accountability for the account executives and customer’s overall positive experience. He is tasked with growth of NuLaw, with specific regard to retention and expansion of the customer experience. He is very passionate about the ability a practice management software has in eliminating manual tasks and driving efficiencies to increase profitability, which led him to NuLaw.

In his previous role, Steve spent 22 years in medical/dental equipment and device sales as a Territory Manager, Strategic Account Manager and then US National Sales Director. During his time as National Sales Director, he expanded 3 divisions and was responsible for a team that grew annual revenue from $69 million to $172 million.

Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Salisbury University and holds a number of leadership and sales certifications. He lives in Annapolis, MD with his wife and two children.

Martin Cabeza

Martin is responsible for Delivery Excellence both internally with our Product Team, as well as with our Implementation Team to ensure successful client deployments. With more than twenty years of IT consulting under his belt, Martin has extensive experience in leading global projects for Fortune 1000 clients in numerous industries, such as Transportation, Telecommunications, Medical Devices, Investment, and Cruise Lines. The list of clients Martin has successfully delivered value added solutions to include large enterprises such as Ryder Systems, AutoNation, Office Depot, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, and Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings. Martin began his career at BellSouth, and then spent over twenty years in IT Consulting with Cambridge Technology Partners. Additionally, he has experience in software product development from his tenure as the PMO Director at PAR Technology, a large publicly traded point-of-sale hardware/software company.  

Martin is accomplished at executing structured methodologies such as SCRUM, Agile, and Waterfall, and he possesses certifications in both Project Management Professional (PMP) and Professional Scrum Master 1 (PSM1). Martin is a graduate of Florida International University, where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.

Jason has a diverse technical background, and, having spent over 8 years with NuLaw, is intimately familiar with all NuLaw products- no one knows this software better than him. He lives in Palm Bay FL, with his wife and daughter.

Larry Bebb

Larry Bebb is an Account Executive on the NuLaw Sales Team. Larry has experience in working with law firms as a consultant to their case management platform, and is a trusted advisor dedicated to providing an application that can maximize a firm’s functionality. He strives to make sure that each solution will encompass all of his clients’ needs. 

In his previous role, Larry was a High School Mathematics teacher. Through an in-depth understanding of educational techniques, Larry finds himself in the unique position of being an expert in divulging information in a way that any audience can understand.

Larry has a Bachelor of Mathematics, as well as a Minor in Education from Metropolitan State University of Denver. He now resides in South Florida, where the NuLaw headquarters is located.

Gabe Skelton is an Account Executive on the NuLaw Sales Team. Gabe is tasked with the responsibility of acquiring and managing strategic client relationships, from corporate In-House Legal Counsel, to attorneys at multi-practice law firms.

As a tech enthusiast and legal practice management software specialist, Gabe is passionate about modernizing the practice of law. He is an avid researcher and knowledge-seeker of emerging technological trends in the legal industry. Gabe previously spent two years working as a Sales Consultant in the Prime Brokerage industry, where he helped release innovative technology to streamline the day-to-day operations of portfolio managers.

 Gabe holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Marketing and Accounting from Providence College. Gabe also holds a Master of Science in Entrepreneurial Leadership from Babson College, where he founded a nonprofit that connected mentors to at-risk college students from elite universities. Gabe is a die-hard basketball fan and bleeds Celtics green. He currently resides in Fort Lauderdale, Florida with his fiancée.

Tyrone Ng

Tyrone Ng is our Sales Engineer, and is responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process.  He conducts in-depth product demonstrations and works with the sales team to technically advise on the sales of products. Prior to Selas, Tyrone worked in the tax compliance software industry for three years, while developing his technical acumen. Now, he finds joy in having the ability to utilize his technical background in a client-facing position and helping others solve their software needs.

Tyrone earned his Bachelors of Science in Computer Science degree from Providence College. Outside of work, you can most likely find him playing basketball or video games.

Dan Smith

Dan Smith is an Account Executive on the NuLaw Sales Team. Dan focuses on growing NuLaw’s client base by educating law firms and industry partners on the values and benefits of NuLaw’s cloud based, enterprise practice management solutions.  His primary goal is to provide a solid client experience by serving as a trusted advisor, using a consultative, solution-based sales approach. 

Prior to NuLaw, Dan’s experience spans over a decade in software (SaaS) sales within the real estate industry.  Dan has worked with clients in numerous capacities to help migrate their corporate operations from on premise to the cloud while ensuring smooth, successful transitions. 

Dan has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Guilford College in North Carolina.  When away from work, Dan enjoys a round of golf, playing basketball with his kids, and spending his free time with his family.
